Biography:
| Born in Budapest, Hungary in 1903 and died there in 1968. He was a painter and stage designer. He studied at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts with Master Istvan Bosznay, and began to exhibit his artwork at the Kunsthalle (Mucsarnok) in 1927. He soon began a long career in stage and set design (principally at the Vig Theatre), completing over 250 theatrical productions. His work was characterized as elegant and natural, with meticulous, decorative shapes. He returned to painting during his last years.
