Biography:
| Born in Vienna, Austria in 1870 and died in Budapest, Hungary in 1945. He studied painting and graphic arts in Vienna and Paris. In Budapest he illustrated books and designed posters and ex librises. He participated in the exhibitions of the Mucsarnok (Kunsthalle) and the National Salon with his portraits, landscapes and genre scenes. During World War I he worked as a graphic artist for a newspaper, Tolnai Vilaglapja, and also worked for the Kner Press. He visited Paris, where he mainly depicted the lives of vagabonds. He was awarded prizes in juried graphic tenders.
